On May 23, 2024 at approximately 5:40 PM, Deputies with the Davie County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 184 Fonso Way, Mocksville. Upon arrival, Probable Cause to apply for a Search Warrant was quickly developed. Subsequently, a Search Warrant was executed, and various types of narcotics were found, including green fentanyl, crack cocaine, oxycodone tablets, and marijuana.
Carlos Antwonne Redmond, male, age 41, of 184 Fonso Way, Mocksville, NC was placed under arrest and charged with Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell and/or Deliver Schedule II, Felony Possession of Schedule II x2, Misdemeanor Possession of Schedule II, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Simple Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia. Redmond was issued a $10,000 Secured Bond and is scheduled to be in Davie County District Court located in Mocksville on June 13, 2024. The Davie County Sheriff’s Office would like to advise and warn the residents of our county of the dangers of these illicit narcotics. Fentanyl being one of the most dangerous, as it comes in many textures and colors. It can be found in both powdered and solid form, with green, purple, blue, white, and gray being the most prevalent colors. Please be wary as we continue to diligently fight the narcotics epidemic.
