Hire an Off Duty Deputy

Hire an Off-Duty Deputy:

The standard fee will be $50.00 an hour for each deputy and a $25.00 vehicle fee for each deputy. A minimum of 3 hours is required.

There will also be a late request fee for any requests made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the shift. This rate will be $60.00 an hour, however the vehicle fee will remain the same. Any shift scheduled on a holiday recognized by the county will also be $60.00 an hour with the vehicle fee remaining the same.

There is no guarantee that an event will be filled, however we will make every possible attempt to fill each request. If a request is un-filled and the event is approaching, you may reach out to offduty@dcsonc.com and request to pay more than the standard rate to increase the chances of the shift being staffed.
