Narcotics
The Narcotics Division of the Davie County Sheriff's Office is a specialized unit whose primary responsibility is to enforce violations of the law involving the possession, use, manufacture, sell of distribution of controlled substances.
This unit is responsible for gathering intelligence, maintaining databases, securing evidence, conducting surveillance, performing covert operations, executing search warrants and developing probable cause to arrest those involved with illegal drugs. Members of this unit are also called up to assist with other investigations and operations that require their specific skills and training.
In addition, the DCSO Narcotics Division also works closely with other local, state, and federal agencies in matters involving the trafficking of illegal drugs into Davie County and the surrounding areas.
