Criminal Investigation Division
The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is led by a division Captain and comprised of 7 Detectives, 3 CSI Technicians, and an information analyst that work together to investigate crimes, including but not limited to, property crimes, assaults, fraud, homicides, and sex crimes.
The men and women of the Criminal Investigation Division have experience and training to develop leads, process and analyze evidence, and compile information to successfully prosecute those who commit crimes.
Davie County Sheriff’s Office is proud to have the ability to investigate crimes using a variety of state of the art tools. These tools, which include a TRIMBLE scanner (provided by a grant), a digital crimes lab, and an in-house CSI lab and evidence bay, allow DCSO to process many types of evidence in the field and onsite.
The Sheriff’s Office continues to pursue ways to better serve the citizens of Davie County using available resources and technologies.
