Patrol Division
The Patrol Division is our largest division, led by a division Captain and composed of 46 deputies that serve the Davie County community. These deputies patrol the 276 square miles of Davie County and serve the almost 43,000 citizens that live in the county. Our office has divided the county into six zones, which also contain sub-zones, to ensure timely responses.
The Davie County Sheriff's Office provides patrol services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Patrol services include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to emergency calls.
- Serving warrants on criminal offenders.
- Helping prevent criminal acts, traffic violations, public assistance, and public order.
- Responding to reports of both criminal and non-criminal acts.
- Directing and controlling traffic.
- Policing the community and other crime prevention activities.
- Providing assistance to other agencies for emergency and law enforcement.
