The mission of the Davie County Sheriff’s Office is to ensure a safe, caring environment for its citizens and visitors to live, work, play and raise a family, to reduce crime, and to effectively manage any natural or manmade disaster.
Davie County Sheriff’s Office consists of approximately 150 employees (sworn and unsworn) who are dedicated to public service in the Davie County community. The Office is separated into divisions, which work together to serve the citizens of the county. These include Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Narcotics, Civil, the Davie County Detention Center and Davie County Animal Services. Established in 1837, with the Sheriff as the only officer, the Davie County Sheriff’s Office has continued throughout the years to expand and improve its services to meet the needs of the growing community. As a law enforcement agency, we are committed to ensuring a safe environment in Davie County and preserving the quality of life for its citizens. |
