School Resource Officers employed with the Davie County Sheriff's Office working September 10, 2010 at the Davie High School home football game observed a registered sex offender on the premises. The suspect, Edward Leon Ramage, white male, age: 42, of 248 Gwyn Street, Mocksville NC, was approached and arrested without incident in the parking lot. Ramage was charged with being a sex offenderon a child premises. Ramage received a $3000.00 secured bond and was placed in the Davie County Detention Center. School Resource Officers keep up-to-date sex offender books in their patrol vehicles and they assist Davie County Schools to keep their books up-to-date.
