On 08/30/2010 victim, Randall Smith, contacted the Davie County Sheriff's Office to advise that he located his dog on Sunday 08/29/2010 across the street from his home deceased. The dog appeared to have suffered a small caliber gun shot wound to the head. The victim stated that the dog was friendly and not aggressive. There are no witnesses or suspects to the incident at this time.
