Local woman arrested after ongoing narcotics investigation                         

            Sheriff Andy Stokes reports that as part of an ongoing investigation into the sell and delivery of narcotics inside Davie County the Davie County Sheriff Office Narcotics Division arrested Marquisha Denise Holland (B/F DOB – 05/17/1982) on March 9^th 2010.

            Marquisha Holland was originally sought in the round up on 12/29/2009 but avoided being arrested.  Narcotics Detectives from Davie County working in conjunction with Narcotics Detectives from Rowan County located Marquisha Holland at 3990 Statesville Blvd lot 12 in Salisbury.

            Marquisha was taken before the on duty magistrate in Davie County and charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II (Crack cocaine), Sell and Deliver Schedule II (Crack Cocaine), and Maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of Controlled Substance.  She was given a $3,000.00 secure bond.
